I had an original mortgage for $70,000 it defaulted. There is a company that charged it off but they have it as the original loan amount as being $100,000. Would this affect my credit score even more than it already is since it is stating the wrong amount? Also is it normal for a charge off to say that there is now a $0 balance owed?

The amount of the debt has no effect on your credit scores. When a secured debt is charged off such as a mortgage, it shows a zero balance for the secured debt since it is longer secured and is then unsecured.
