I have a rental that is in foreclosure.
I have moved out of state and am renting a different primary residence (with my wife who own the property in her name alone.). What documentation is needed to prove that I am renting? Would a lease suffice or would the payments from my checking accounts be needed?
thank you very much for your assistance

Hello Derekk,

If you are behind on payments on the home you vacated they will be well aware you are residing elsewhere because they will send someone down to the property regularly to verify occupancy. However, if you are asking about your rental expenses to prove you are paying x amount monthly elsewhere a simple lease and copy of your checking statement outlining the withdrawal should be more than suffice..
