I'm new to the Forum, but now a sadly worn traveler down the modification road.

My specific question/hope in coming here is to see if anybody knows how a homeowner might go about locating the specific guidelines used under the DOJ program. I can readily find HAMP program guidelines, just not the DOJ ones. Anybody out there been able to take a look at them yet? I'm told I'm not eligible because they calculated my DTI to be too low for inclusion, but I'd like to be able to confirm this for myself.

Hi DeAun,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for joining.........

All of the information pertaining to how the five servicers named in the DOJ Settlement are to handle the programs through the settlement can be found in each one of their own Consent Judgments. You can locate the consent judgement for whichever servicer you have in the following link on the right hand side under the heading Settlement Documents;
