A Florida attorney from Miami was suspended for 18 months from practicing law for his failure to handle client’s loan modification matters
Scott Lowell Podvin of the Podvin Law in Miami Beach was suspended after the Florida Supreme Court found that Podvin allegedly failed his clients by not properly processing the loan modifications and also failing to keep his clients informed of the status of their cases. He failed to communicate with his clients who tried to get in touch with Podvin several times.
He was also accused by another lawyer for failing to pay a debt and trying to avoid collections, according to court records.
Podvin was previously disciplined by the Florida Bar in August 2015 for complaints of his failure to communicate with clients.
He has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1994.
