A Florida homeowner is suing Bank of America for alleged breach of contract in regards to the bank’s failure to honor a loan modification agreement.

The plaintiff, Lissette Bryant alleges that she fell behind on her mortgage payments in 2011 and reached out to the defendant, Bank of America for assistance.

Bryant said she entered into a loan modification agreement with BofA but the bank failed to accept her payments and ended up foreclosing on her property.

Bryant seeks a judgment against the defendant plus interest and further relief.

The complaint was filed on March 30 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida – Case number 17-006141.
