Current mortgage rates at some of the nation’s top lenders for this Tuesday are mostly mixed with rates staying the same or slightly on the rise. The national average for the 30 year fixed mortgage rate is 4.45% and the average rate for the 15-year mortgage is 3.91%.
The 5-year adjustable-rate mortgage (ARM) average is 3.68% and 1 year ARM is 2.68%. The average 30-year fixed FHA loan rate is 4.35% and jumbo loan rate for the 30-year is 4.58%.
Bank of America is reporting its 30-year fixed mortgage is 4.375% and the 15-year mortgage is 4.00%. The 10/1 ARM is 4.125% and the 5/1 ARM is 3.75%.
Wells Fargo’s 30-year fixed rate is 4.50% and the 15-year fixed is 4.125%. The 30-year refinance rate is 4.625% and the 15-year mortgage is 4.25%.
The 30-year fixed purchase mortgage rate at Chase is 4.375% and the 15 year is 3.875%. 30-year fixed mortgage refinance rates are at 4.375% and the 15-year fixed is at 3.875%.
