My husband was forced into a medical retirement from his job as a police detective due to a job related injury. His income has dropped by $30,000 a year. We currently have a jumbo loan through CW/BOA but don't know the best route to take. If we can get a loan modification we would like to extend our loan out to 40 years if possible and have a reduction with the interest rate. We have gone through our savings trying to keep up, however, we now have nothing left. I have been applying for numerous jobs, but no such luck yet.
