Today’s Chase Mortgage Rates for 1/6/11

All mortgage rates at Chase went up today. News  from the Mortgage Bankers association (MBA) yesterday revealed that mortgage applications dropped the week before Christmas, and increased again the week after.

30-year fixed rates went from 4.750% yesterday, to 4.875% today. Chase is now matched with the same 30-year fixed rates from Wells Fargo. 15-year fixed rates climbed from 4% to 4.125%, a bit lower 15-year rates at Wells.

7-year adjustable rate mortgages went from 4.375% yesterday to 4.500% today. And to finish it off for Chase, 5-year adjustable rate mortgages went up to 4% from 3.875%.
