Suspect In Nationwide Credit Card Fraud Scheme Booked At Baldwin County Jail

(Source: The Union-Recorder, Milledgeville, Ga) - A man suspected of committing more than half a million dollars in credit card fraud has been booked at the Baldwin County Jail.

Akop Taymizyam, 35, of Glendale, Calif. is facing charges for allegedly making fraudulent ATM purchases on a local victim’s account by stealing the account information and creating a working card that he allegedly used to make the fraudulent ATM withdrawals with in Atlanta.

Det. Bobby Langford obtained photos, allegedly of Taymizyam, from Atlanta police and passed the photos to other investigators taking part in an investigators network.

Taymizyam had been arrested in Cobb County and is facing around 60 counts of the same nature and in Cherokee County he is facing 30 more similar counts.

Taymizyam is currently being held in the Baldwin County jail without bond.
