A similar event is being held simultaneously at the Bridgeport-Trumbull-Fairfield Holiday Inn in Bridgeport.
The events, which are free, give borrowers a chance to meet face-to-face with an employee from the bank’s mortgage modification department. Customers were urged to register before attending the event, but walk-ins are welcome.
The documents a customer will need to bring for a mortgage review are listed at www .bankofamerica.com/homeownerevent.
Bank of America’s mortgage modification event in Hartford follows similar ones sponsored since October by the Neighborhood Assistance Corp. of America, the state and Wells Fargo. Bank of America participated in both NACA’s event and the one sponsored by the state, held in November.
