NACA is one of the nation’s largest non-profit’s with 31 offices throughout the country. Led by Bruce Marks, CEO, they continue to grow and help thousands of homeowners.

They are a very effective organization in helping struggling homeowners obtain loan modifications and have made a huge impact in this mortgage crisis.

The NACA programs continue to provide real solutions for homeowners by having special “loan restructure” agreements in place with many of the top mortgage servicing companies. From what their website says, ” If they are unable to come to an agreement with your mortgage servicer, then they are given the opportunity to go directly to the investor who holds the loan.

This organization only works with homeowners on their primary residences. If you have a second home or multiple properties, then they can’t help you with those loan modifications.

You will need to attend a workshop that will outline the loan modification process and give you an the knowledge you need in order to achieve an affordable home loan through NACA. If you do not live in s state where there is a local office, please don’t worry because you can submit your information online. More on that later.

After you attend one of their workshops, you will then schedule and an appointment with a housing counselor either by phone or in person. Please note that you will have to provide all of your required documentation to your counselor for your file to be submitted to your mortgage servicer.
