(LoanSafe.org) – The City of Moreno Valley in Riverside County, Ca. will be hosting a free free foreclosure prevention event this Saturday in an effort to assist struggling local homeowners. The event will be held from 10 am – 2 pm at the Moreno Valley Conference & Recreation Center, 14075 Frederick Street.
Past events have drawn more than 700 people.
Workshop presenters include representatives from the Homeownership Education Learning Program (HELP), the Fair Housing Council of Riverside County, Springboard, and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Homeowners will be able to work directly with housing counselors and mortgage servicers.

- Loan modification, short sale, and foreclosure processes
- Avoiding foreclosure prevention scams
- Federal foreclosure prevention programs
Several lenders will be on-site to meet one-on-one with homeowners to expedite the loan modification or short sale processes. Spanish translation will be available.
