Update to my HAMP Application

So, my HAMP Trial period runs from 10/1-12/1. I sent in my 3rd payment on 11/16. I notice on the assist website it indicates they haven't received my 3rd payment even though on the normal WF site it shows they received it and processed it through my account. Now the fun begins.

I contact WF Home Mortgage and they say they can't start on the review process until December 1st because not only do I have to make the 3 payments the 90 days has to complete. WT? Also the rep said don't trust the Assist website because it is not always updated properly. ???

Then I'm told even though I provided a cover letter with my last payment indicating my hardship is the same and my income and expenses are the same it doesn't count. Instead on December 1st I have to submit new last two paycheck copies, a new hardship letter and a new financial worksheet. Additionally, these 3 things are only good for 30 days so if my application goes to January 1st I again have to resubmit these 3 items or my application can fall through.

I just don't understand I have told them in writing as of Nov 16th no changes to income or expense or hardship since original filing but NO they want me to resend it all as a new communication on December 1st.

By creating BS-rules like that which have absolutely NOTHING to do with the guidelines, some servicers turn HAMP into a big pain in the.....

My trial period is the same as yours (10/01 - 12/01). I was told today that I should continue to make the trial period in January 2010 and possbily February 2010. I asked if they normally complete the final modification processing in 30 days and she said no. This is particularily important to me since my house was going to auction on Nov. 24th even though I was making my trial period payments. Simply, you have to stay on top of WF because they do not follow through. I was in foreclosure for 3 days in August and they never notified the company that was handling the foreclosure that I was accepted into the HAMP program. I don't trust them so now I call them every week to week and a half. I would suggest you do the same.

I am in the pre-approval phase with WFM since mid-Sept.
They also ask me to resubmit those 3 items (paystubs, financial worksheet & hardship letter) every 30 days or so.
The helpful rep today did tell me if the last 2 items have no changes, just change the date on them and resubmit.
