Wells Fargo Modification in process

When I go to the Wells Fargo workable solutions site and enter in my information, it says that the review of my account is completed and that they are in the process of a modification agreement. This whole process has been going on for about a month and in the last week it has changed to processing modification agreement. Does this mean that They are going to offer me a modification for sure? or could it still be denied?

Re: Wells Fargo Modification in process

I do not want to discourage you but mine said the following on 5/27/09 and then i was denied on 6/19/09.
Step 1 - Reviewing your account - Completed
Step 2 - Determine Options - Completed
Step 3 - Processing your agreement - In Process

Here is the number for Wells Fargo Executive office that *** has posted in members threads to help, they specialize in results. 1-800-853-8516...call and inform them of your situation. FYI-You have to have a surplus of at least 100-200 at the end of the month.

willowgrouse,
are you saying that you paid a reduced payment during your forbearance and then they denied you a mod?

Hey willowgrouse, just wondering, were you able to resolves issues with Wells Fargo? I am in the same pos like you now.. they told me 3 month forbearance(to suspend foreclosure since got NOD already and my sale date is Oct) while they are figuring out if the can modify my loan. They further said no guarantee if I will be approve.. bad thing is forbearance payment is same as my existing mortgage payment which is to high - $3400

Please let me know the outcome of yours... I highly appreciate your inputs.. I'm trying to figure if Wells is realling trying to help me or just want to collect as much money as they can from me..
