Need tips to negotiate Wachovia HELOC

Elsewhere on this forum I saw some very good advice about approaching the HELOC lender to negotiate down the amount BEFORE the home forecloses. I've never seen that suggestion from anyone before.

I would like to see advice from people who have successfully substantially lowered their HELOC balance, hopefully down to 30% or even better.

Details of your approach and negotiations would be extremely helpful.

I have the same situation like you to see how others to deal with lender on HELCO when you do foreclosure
