Rosa said that it take about 2 weeks to get an update after everything has been submitted for reiew. She said that although i have a good rate of 6.3% on my 1st she was going to try to reduce it to a fixed rate. she also mentioned that she was going to also try to lower my 2nd mortgage because its @ 10.9. our payment a month is 3675.00 we are dying with this payment. i know this process is anxiety provoking but we are doing everything we can. please stay in touch. If i dont hear from Rosa in 2 wks, I will then be kncking on her door!!!!! I was encouraged to get some legal assistance with this loan mod....but I am going to give hem opportunity to work with me first. If they dont modify the loan then I will take it to the next level. The great thing is that we are in touch with the right people...like Jeanne Drake team and of course this forum. Best of luck. I will keep an update regading my situation. -h |

She is just waiting on tax and escrow info so she can submit it for approval. I told her that I could make a partial payment for this month but she told me to hold off. She hopes to have the whole thing worked out by the end of this month!!!! I'm keeping all digits crossed! |

I was origanlly told two weeks, and when I called back the end of last week, told one more week, which would make it two total. They were waiting for the tax and escrow info, too. I really hope it can be all done by the end of the month. |

Hey Girls Mom.........Me too......i tried to call Rosa just to get an update and keep getting her voicemail. So i decided to call Lindsey and like always she has been very helpful. She looked up my file and gave me the status. We are waiting for taxes and escrow fees. She said that we should know something in about 2 weeks so this friday will be 2 weeks. I will be calling her this friday. I know this process is nerve wrecking. I am counting the hours/days. Yup March is over .now we are going into April. Forgot to mention....Lindsey said that because we owe our property taxes from last year ahmsi might be able to tie it into my loan......well take care of yourself and keep us posted as things come up with your situation. -h |

Should you show a surplus from your current expenses and current mortage payment before loan modification? and if so is this surplus from your gross or net income? |

I just spoke with Jeanne Drake's assistant, Lindsey and she told me that we've been approved! She said that I'll be starting at 3.2% and going to 5% which I guess means 3.2 for the first year? LIndsey wasn't sure but gave me the dollar amounts. My payments are being reduced by $1500/ month to $2358: $1658 (P & I) 703 (taxes) That's a payment I can make! I am so emotional right now that I cannot explain how grateful I am to this forum and the folks in Jeanne Drake's office. I know that I NEVER would have gotten as far as I did without the invaluable advice and the unwavering support that I have garnered from this website. I told Lindsey that I read only good things about her at Loan Safe and she was so excited! I will update when I receive the actual documents which I should receive this week. Keep the faith! |

I faxed over my hardship letter to both offices on 03-31-09 and recived a voicemail on 04-07-09 from Rosa, asking me to please call because she would need more documents. Since then I have called back 4 times and have only left 2 voicemails. What should my next step be? |

Her assistant, Lindsey, told me today that Rosa is swamped, but Lindsey was able to give me the info that I needed. Best of luck to you! |

When you sent your hardship letter in, did you mention that you take care of your brother who is ill? My mom has pancres and lung cancer, but she does not live with me but I do help tremendously with her expenses. |

Tax 703 Ins 227 Total Payment $2589 I've left a message for Rosa because I have a couple of questions. Why is the insurance payment included in my monthly payment to AMHSI? I pay $227/month for my homeowners insurance so I don't know if this is an error. There's also a statement that reads: You may be required to make a contribution in the amount of $3583 within 3 days following execution of the mod docs. My first payment is due June 1. The $3583 would be a problem. Does anyone have experience with this? Do you think this could be negotiated? |
