Re: Everyone, CW/NACA SUCCESS!!!! WOW! Congratulations! how encouraging, now, here I go.... Filled out on-line paperwork for NACA, have uploaded supporting docs., now have phone appointment early tomorrow morning. Wells Fargo is our unfortunate loan manager and investor. I have been attempting to work with Wells on my own since 10/2008 to no avail. I am definetly going to be giving this all I've got till the end! Thanks for your story, hope is everything.

Re: Everyone, CW/NACA SUCCESS!!!! Okay, I am so thrilled to hear about success stories w/ NACA, but I am early on in this, and I am not feeling terribly confident in my NACA reps I have spoken to on the phone. I certainly don't want to sound harsh, but honestly. The rep. I am currently in communication with to get my file in order, just doesn't seem to follow or listen when I am speaking. Just tell me that he is not the actual "negotiator" for my file, that after the info./file is complete it gets transfered to a professional who negotiates on my behalf. Can anyone give me some feedback on this?

Re: Everyone, CW/NACA SUCCESS!!!! The person you deal with on the phone is just putting the information together. You may not hear from "negotiator" until the actual offer (that's how it happen with me), but believe me, you should feel confident that they are professional, even if they are overworked. They got me a great mod!

Re: Everyone, CW/NACA SUCCESS!!!! Thanks, drose. If you don't mind me asking, did you get a modification or did you get your loan restructured? Any details about your experience w/ NACA would be great. Thanks again, ZAP09

Re: Everyone, CW/NACA SUCCESS!!!! I got a loan modification. I was past due on my mortgage when I applied with NACA in early March. I had read here that NACA takes a while, and that CW/BofA will not talk to you when you are with NACA, so I stayed the couse and waited. In about a month, the B of A website was updated saying my modification requst was recieved, under review, and collection activities had been suspended. The next time I heard from anyone was on 6/3 when I recieved the email from NACA saying I had been approved. I did have to call my negotiater once to get the documents sent, but that was it. Documents arrived shortly thereafter, and things went smooth from there. I can tell NACA is totally overwhelmed with work, but be patitent, it will pay off. My mod came back better than I thought! Good luck!

Re: Everyone, CW/NACA SUCCESS!!!! Thanks drose. I have submitted all of my docs. to NACA. I have spoken to an "intake" rep. and he e-mailed me today that he is working on completing my file, but to be patient. What is appropriate nudging with this rep., in order to get my file to the next person (negotiator?) ? I certainly don't want to bug this person, at the same time I feel like my clock is ticking...Would it be appropriate to e-mail this NACA intake person every couple days to check on the status of my file. I really would like to not get the "auction/sale date" for my home before my file moves to the negotiator. Thank you and congratulations on your mod. ZAP09

Re: Everyone, CW/NACA SUCCESS!!!! Not sure about the nudging, but I did make a follow up "phone appointment" once, and ended up talking to a different person. Unfortunately, the "clock ticking feeling is completely natural, but not going to go away. Just make sure they have all of your info at NACA, and that your status on the NACA website says "Submit to Servicer - Restructure". Then you wait and hope. Remember, the delays are not just on NACA's end, but with your lender and investor as well. Good Luck - and keep checking in with the boards. It will help you in more ways than one!
