Double and even triple checking info espically fom CW is very sound advice. Two years ago while doing refi with CW....AFTER it was completed....CW foreclosed and set a sale date for a loan that no longer existed! All because one dept. didnt "pay off" another dept. within CW. After many, many phone calls I got it resolved but it was quite alot of BS to do it. Hang in there and keep calling....the squeeky wheel gets the gease!

I called the attorneys office and double checked. The sale date has not been cancelled. Called my contact and she had already spoken to the attorneys office and found out that a "cancellation technician" has to call and cancel sale date.
She's trying to find out who that is for me and I'm to contact her this evening!

Ok... today's the 16th...My CW account says active processing, do not call back before 3/31/2009, all of my NACA doc's are showing as received onmy account screen. My messages center has been apparently disabled, now we wait..........................

When did NACA submit your documents? NACA told me ours was submitted on 3/3/09, but I don't see them posted to our account. How can you tell if they are NACA documents on the mod workout area? Does it say NACA? Thank you.

i was told by naca they were submitted on 3-2 but on a follow up call to naca they were not yet submitted so i have a phone appt with naca thursday i hope things turn out good for us

I originally submitted on a phone in to NACA on or around 1/28/09, then my NACA docs were re-submitted on an "urgent" sale date, submitted on 2/13/2009, due to us receiving sherriff's sale papers for 3/17/2009, it was also during that time, our CW account said"active processing" all collections activities have been postponed............whatever......CW is so screwed up. Bottom line here, NACA sent my docs to CW on 3/13/2009 after I informed them of the sale date even though I had submitted all of my online and phone counseling at the end of Jan, I realize we are not the only one's that they are dealing with, but due to the sale NACA rose to the occasion and stepped up to the plate and somehow got CW to stop the sale date, I think it was around the first week of March that happened, at this point I think I was in shock. Back to your original question, my CW account was showing doc's received on 3/11/2009, I hadn't sent them any that they admitted receiving, so I am assuming those are my NACA generated doc's. With a few dozen phone calls to the CW actors I discovered that my assumptions were correct, those doc's were the one's that I had originally sent to NACA at the end of Jan. Now, CW will not even deal with me at the advocacy dept level, which in my mind is a good thing , they said I am strictly to go through my NACA contact, for I am under contract with them now to handle my dilemna!! GREAT!!!! Going with NACA will also take time, and I realize that, but at least I no longer feel I'm taking a knife to a gunfight with NACA on my team, I hope this response didn't muddy the waters to much..

the Naca proposal is submitted to CW electronically by Naca and docs if any, sent by naca do not show up on your account, if you sent any docs to cw during this whole process that is what your are now seeing, whether they acknowleged them before or not, the date cw actually scans them into the system is the date that is posted not the date you faxed them, I had docs show up 4 times once a week for 4 weeks (i faxed to cw 4 times 4 days in a row, took forever to show up)

Well it must have been awhile since you have dealt with CW, the specific doc's that I only sent to NACA were read to me verbatim from CW rep before she realized I was with NACA, then she clammed up and told me to only go through NACA, pretty strange though.Its pretty hard to pinpoint their business patterns as we all know, they change the game plan regularly. Just before the doc's I will say came from NACA showed up on my account, all of 60 plus days old info vanished from the screen and it only had my NACA specific doc's showing, it has to be the NACA info , for the mere fact it was never sent to CW...go figure!!

with cw confusion who knows, lol! oh well, you are in active process for mod and that's what's important. the docs posted on cw website only show there for 60 days and then poof, my mod and the associated docs are still showing (not been 60 days yet) but what's funny is i had 2 active mods at one time showing, the 1st one (naca) went the thru the various stages of processing to complete and is now gone, the other one (12/1 ag) my attempt is still showing as active processing, I sent a message about removing it and was told to call home retention since only they can remove it, that sounds like fun! would rather eat nails than have to talk to anyone at cw lol! no way! it can stay there forever

Yeah who knows what's going on at CW, I think they are in scramble mode!! Trying to jump ship or vying for position with BoA who knows. Your post have been very informative to alot of us newer users of this forum, I guess everyone's situation is a little different, and I am hoping for the same outcome that you have had, nothing would make us happier than to be able to post another NACA success story here, I gues we'll just wait and hope everything works out for everybody that has to go through this thing, very stressful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm starting to get very worried. I hate to be pessimistic, but my offer just seems too good to be true...2% for the life of the loan. I am so afraid this is a mass email that was sent out by mistake. I will be praying for all of us as I work today. Unfortunately, you will know the outcome of these emails before I do. The email itself is format.................but the interest rates for each are individual........and they are all CW.

FLgata, I know how you feel, mine says 2% for the LOTL too. I called my husband and he said to just be calm until the papers are before us. Plus we have no idea of specifics they proposed originally...7K principal red., remove PMI, etc. There are many questions we do not have the answers to. But we are so hopeful!

OMG....IT'S FOR REAL..........................
just got off the phone to NACA ( almost 1 hour wait), the gentleman told me that yes, you have been approved for you restructure with CW at the interest rate submitted by NACA...... he then had me forward the e-mail to him, and he received it and looked at it and sent a response to CW. He told me that I should be getting the actual paperwork in a week or two. I cannot believe it!!! I had my NACA paperwork sent to CW on 2/13/2009, I had previously been trying to work with CW on my own for months and months and getting no-where at all. Now ...poof!!!... Wow, what a relief, I haven't even seen the paperwork yet, but I am so happy I could just ****!!!

I am still in disbelief, but being on top of it and staying ruthless and continuing to be persistant does seem to be the fruits of our hard efforts to save our home, NACA is king as far as we're concerned, nothing like the psyhcological blood bath ,when cw is involved we can't get to anxious until we have doc's in hand though, remember CW is still involved. And when their involved well......you know. good luck
