Just talked to NACA, got the call back Monday speech again.
This one put me on hold a few times came back and said if I don't get anything in mail from them to call Monday ...

I went thru both. Countrywide just recently declined my mod saying I don't qualify. I've been getting the "call back in a week" response from NACA for nearly a month now.

2% pretty crazy huh?

I am skeptical also... I already accepted a mod and everything is updated... so if this comes through I will be doublely happy

...an interest only 4.75 percent step loan that they offered a couple of months ago and everything is updated online and statements.

ok just checked. I got an email too it says 5% and I already got a mod using naca. lowering the rate 1% would save me about $200 a month i'll take it if they give it. I am not going to call Naca about the email yet as there are too many just on this forum alone that need thier help but will watch what denised and others post about the emails, so keep us posted denised.

Congrats Denise and Mickey!

I hope these emails are valid. I'm a little nervous. You know that saying, "When something sounds too good to be true...."
I was approved at 2%, which is lower than the NACA proposed (3.9%). I won't be home from work until late this evening, but I will try to contact the NACA to see if these proposals are legit. Fingers crossed everyone!

If you don't mind can all the NACA success stores post what date they submitted to NACA and what date you received your modification approval just so those of us that are in the process know about some kind of time frame we may be looking at.
