I don't want to mess anything up, so, will probably just ask and see what they say. If I can't get through to them today, I plan to just sign and return the docs. I want this done and over with! We're very happy with the rate and everything, so, don't want to push it.

Update---

I just called and spoke to Lindsey. Still in management for approval.

I could not get through to Amy after many tries.

Lindsey said that I could call back at the end of the week......
I guess more sleepless nights.

I'm also still waiting for my approval. I talked to Amy Mecado today and all she said that management received the paperwork on March 9th and we are still waiting for a reply. She did say that it doesn't need to be approved by the investor. So I guess I will play the waiting game.

Great News!!! We got our modification papers Via UPS today out of the blue. We went from a 10.125 variable rate to a 5.750 fixed rate for the remaining 26 yrs. Payment went from 1331.00 to 913.00 taxes and insurance included. Fracking awesome!!!! Thank you Amy Macedo at AHMSI for negotiating a great deal for us. And Thank you to this forum, we never would have attempted to do this had we not found it. And to everyone else out there trying to do the same thing...keep ur head up and fight for what you love and it will happen. Again thank you all!!!!

CONGRATULATION!!!!! That is fantastic. I hope Amy can do the same for me, I'm supposed to hear any day now if I am approved or not, the waiting is taking its toll on me.
