I've talked to the collections department and given them over the phone a run down of all my finanicals. They say I don't qualify for any programs but won't say why..too much income, not enough income I don't know. My husband works in the automotive industry which is one of the hardest hit. He gets paid flat rate which is by the job and not by the hour. His income is down about $200.00 a week from what it was. I've typed out hardship letter to try and get a loan modification but would like to know the best way to send it and to who. Should I email it, fax it, or snail mail? Please help. We need to keep our home. |

First......don't talk to collections.........they are not going to be very helpful with the modification process.............. instead call the executive team and they will direct you on where to send your hardship letter and info........ CitiResidential 1-866-461-0913 Please keep us posted on your progress..........

I did get a message today from a Chris to fax her some docs. She asked for most recent paystub for me and my husband, Insurance dec. page & most recent tax bill. I will fax her the documents from work tomorrow. About how long will it take to get a responce back? Any Idea? I still owe Oct, Nov & Dec payment and hope to get atleast one in be the end of the month. Will they start to forclose while I'm trying to work with them? |

I'm 4 months behind and I don't even know when or if they will help us! I faxed the very few docs they requested, they claim they finally received them on 12/31/08, but my case has yet to be assigned to anyone! They said to call back late next week to see if it's been assigned yet! Help! Is there any way to get this moving faster? I'm pretty sure they are going to need more info. They did not request much to begin with and I can't get anyone to look at my file!!!! |

She said it will still be a few weeks before they know anything. By looking at the other threads on here, it seems like the process is moving faster for others. I started this back in Mid December. Does this sound right? |
