One month of payment would be added in due to the payment beginning on Dec. 1st..........this would cover the payment for November along with the interest being paid for October and your escrows, since interest in a payment is paid for the month before.

What was your circumstances when you applied? where you still current? How much surplus or negativity did you show in your expenses? I would love your advice. I am really nervous. I am still current went through one adjustment on my ARM so far, can't go through another. |

Feemama, I was still current on my payments and when I did my income/expenses, there was a surplus of around $130. But when the negotiator had my papers, it looked like I had a surplus of $2k! We went through it again, which the negotiator worked very quickly with me, and came up with a proposed package that same day. It then had to be sent up to their executive management team for approval. It's great that you already have a negotiator. Call them and have your income/expense worksheet in front of you. Good luck! Thank goodness that I had the help through the Executive Office of the President, which processed everything so quickly. It took only a month. The HOPE team was useless to me. |

Well, I spoke with Mario who said that OCWEN will help if a person really needs it. He said that based on my financials, I am able to afford to pay. |

As far as being denied until it was late...well, thats what we had to do just to be listened to by OCWEN...3 times prior to that when we were always on time they basically just said I was denied for affordability. They told me I could afford a bigger payment with them. Then finnally one of the reps stated some insigt of how they approve and deny. they tend to push off those who are not late and see how persistent they become. However, I will say once we were 30 days late the doors opened for us and they actually listened. went abck and forth for a while until they finnally approved us...so dont give up hope with them..I know OCWEN is very challenging, but I can tell you the lasst guy I dealt with leved up to his word to 100%...thus our mod approved...keep at them... |
