| | | Re: Wilshire Credit Corporation The Queen has been banned for violating the TOS of this website. If she wanted to come in and just give help and pay it forward fine, but that didn't appear to be the case. You could be a great person, but I am like the Soup Nazi in Seinfeld, no patience and strict rules. Good luck to you.
OK,
Back to green. I apologize for this but keep in mind that this place is just for homeowners and advice givers. We do not endorse any company. If we do it on the future, the community will have to endorse it by vote.
Now, Wilshire. They are a pain to deal with. But that is just like every other servicer out there. It will take a lot of calls, faxes and emails. But I have seen success. Lots of failure to.
As with most the success stories, they all learned what to do and they did not give up. 3-4 months it may take. Are you ready for that fight? | | Re: Wilshire Credit Corporation

| | | Chase underwriter approval So we finally decided to pull our modification with Chase from the 3rd party representing us yesterday. It's a good thing I called becasue I was informed by Chase that our file had been closed and an NOD filed. Why......because the 3rd party was not in CONTACT with Chase on a regular basis and did not VERIFY that the required documents were actually received. Chase let me know that the key to this process is communication. Fortunately I was able to start the process over again and was given the name and direct line for our new Loss Mit representative. They said to be patient and that the process will take up to 60 days and to be sure to call at least once a week. The frustrating part is that we started this back on November 1st and placed our trust in this other company to assist us in this process. All they needed to do was make 1 phone call a week to Chase and they couldn't even do that. I was able to call Chase, give my financials over the phone, get a list of required docments and ask a few additional questions a it took a total of about 15 minutes. Kudos to Chase. 1-877-838-1882 ext 55706.
What I've learned it that if it's YOUR house, YOU fight for it, because YOU are the only one with blood in the game not the person "representing" you.
By the way I have demanded a refund from the 3rd party for the wonderful service I was provided. If they fight us on it, I'll be sure to post their name and our story all over the Internet. $%&*#*& *#*holes! | | Re: Chase modification update

| | | Re: Chase modification update I am so sorry to hear about your experience with the 3rd party in regards to your loan modification. Unfortunately, that's what a lot of companys do is take your money and offer no help.
You CAN do this on your own! You have to be patient and persistent. Do not give up and everything will turn out fine.
Good luck!

| | Tackling Chase Mod on My Own This Time! As I stated in a previous post we have pulled our file from the infamous 3rd party and are now handling the modification with Chase ourselves. We received a letter from Chase last week stating that they cancelled our modification becasue they had not received the required docs. I spoke with
3rd party and they said that it is a standard system generated letter and everyone gets them. And I was told that I will not be able to get as good of a deal if I handle it myself. Some deal, lack of communication, an NOD and a sale date. BS, they didn't do their "job" so just give me back my $.
Hmmmm, I called Chase and in 1 day (actually just a few minutes), sent required docs, confirmed receipt and now the legal poceedings have been placed on hold. Back to square one.
Any thoughts worksinlossmit or others.
Thanks | | Re: Another Chase/worksinlossmit post

| | | Re: Another Chase/worksinlossmit post It takes around 60 days to complete the process with Chase. They are doing really good in assisting homeowners and I think you just will have to hang on for the ride but be grateful and comfortable that Chase is your lender.
If you need help getting your money back, call me. I'll be glad to assist you. | | Re: Another Chase/worksinlossmit post

| | | Re: Another Chase/worksinlossmit post Thanks Moe
For them to tell me that the letter I received is standard is a joke. Especially if they were doing their job. I know, let it go, get my money back and move on. | | Re: Another Chase/worksinlossmit post

| | Re: Another Chase/worksinlossmit post Just so you know the legal proceedings are not guarenteed to be placed onhold...At least thats what CHASE told me. I can only hope. In California foreclusre is said to take a minimum of 120 days - Chase says 6-8 weeks for a Loan Mod decision
