After I sent the complaint, via fax, email and mail I received a call from Adrienne from the office of the president. I didnt need any money upfront or to sign anything because I was not late. I think if your late its a different story on the mods. Dakota I see you are current also which hopefully means you will get fixed for 5yrs at your teaser rate like I did. But my teaser was high to start.

I did have some delinquent taxes and late fees that they rolled into the back end though, I bet that is why I needed to sign paperwork because the original loan amount changed. Andrea |

They told mre they would have someone go walk to her desk and she if she was there. While waiting, the representative mentioned that there was a post it note on my file from upper management. She then says....there is roughly a 3/4 month turnaround time for loan mods. I interupted her and told her I have been working on this since November and that is why upper management is involved. The negotiator wasn't at her desk, so I told the representative to go over questions w/me right know since there is a 3hr time difference and I am not going to pay phone tag anymore. She then says there is a problem with my financials....I say okay what....she goes you are -$5000 a month income vs.expenses!!! That is when I lost it....I said are you guys crazy. Told her that I must be sellings goods from my desk at work, if you know what I mean. She thens goes we are now supposed to ask if you would not pay your credit card payments to make your house payment.....I said "who would in their right mind not pay their house payment to pay their Sears card...house comes first" To make a long story short she did some changes in her computer and says okay now we show your -$200 a month...the investor will like that better....I said okay since I didn't want to deal w/her anymore........ Adrienne from the Office of the President assured me she would call me today 1/11 and as of know...no call....and I told the rep I spoke with if the negotiator need to reach me, that it would be easier to reach me by email than phone.....so what do I get a phone message from the negotiator...call back vm.....I am so stressed.... |

She wanted to make sure im still happy with my mod and if my issues are fully resolved. I did ask her this "what happens after 5 years, can i apply for another mod". Her answer was they really havent looked into that at this time. All the terms do stay the same on the original loan (margin and libor rate and such). So all in all im very happy with my modification.

When I first joined in December there weren't many success stories and now there's at least a few every couple of days or so. I think it's wonderful how everyone is reaching out to one another to lend a helping hand. Moe, I just have to say that this site brings me a lot of comfort and helps ease my anxiety....I have such a long wait to just begin the loan modification process but coming on this site everyday helps me by educating me on how this process works and what I can expect to happen. It also helps when I can lend another support during a stressful and difficult time. I know you will all be here for me when I go through it.....and that's nice to know.

BUt for me I had to sign papers because my loan amount changed (they added escrow and 1 payment to the backend). I also needed to send a certified check because my loan amount was changing and to cover the late fees I had racked up over the past several months. I'm just sending it back today. It took me a week to come up with the funds for the check. |
