I forgot to add if it is an escrow shortage, if you have the funds you can probably pay the shortage outright instead of having in your monthly payment. i checked ours and our escrow is right on track so we don't have a shortage. after clicking on step by step analysis you should see the steps on how they determine your escrow payment. also i will email *** and see if there is a way she can send you my email address, if not will work something out. |

I am going to start insurance shopping tomorrow to see if we can get any a little cheaper with the company that carries our car insurance. They give discounts if you carry both so hopefully that will make a difference. Thanks for contacting *** AND to top it off I got an email from CW asking me to fill out a customer satisfaction survey for their modification department! What a crock! Anyone have anything they want me to put on it along with my own personal thoughts?!!?! |

I found out that they were trying to charge us a late fee for the Jan. payment that THEY didn't get posted into their system correctly until Feb. 11th! Thank the Lord we quick collected it and I kept my paperwork! The first lady I spoke with tried to tell me that the payment was applied to last May's owe payment and I was like NOOO...we signed a loan modification. She said "Well, then you need to speak with the home retention department." and then she transferred me. I spoke with a rep in the home retention department and she said it was for the Jan payment that wasn't received until 2-11. I explained that we quick collected in back in Jan and I had my receipts w/confirmation numbers to prove this if she needed it. She did somethings with her computer and then came back and said the fee had been removed. I am glad I called! That was around $43.00 they wanted to squeeze out of an already tight budget! |

I would like to get a copy of the signed mod (signed by CW) I wonder how we can get that, since it is not recorded? |

When CW accepted our NACA proposal, NACA emailed us to see if we accepted their terms. Once we did, CW sent us the restructure papers. If you can't afford the mod your lender sent you then contact NACA ASAP and get them started. It's a long process, but worth it. CW offered us 2 or 3 bad mods before finally accepting the NACA proposal. I really think they were sending them to us hoping we would panic and sign them. If you read through my story here you will see that we contacted NACA right after we got the first bad mod from CW. NACA got us a low FIXED interest rate with a payment we could afford. |

Do you have someone that lives with you that pays the bills? If that is the case then they will ask for proof of income from them even if they are not on your mortgage. If they live with you and pay you need to show that. If you have no income I don't know what options are available to you, but you can certainly ask. I know NACA has helped disabled and elderly individuals get payments that their disability and ssi checks could cover. |
