Congrats on your success!!
I am currently fighting with countrywide as well, they called me today with a 3% interest only for 2 years, the remainder 5% fixed for the life of the loan mod.
I had requested that they fix it for the life of the loan. Do you happen to know who your investor is? What state are you located in?
Wow Donna I only hope i get as lucky as you. If i could get that i owuld be Estactic!
congrats!
wow! I am working with them right now as well. 3% for 40!? I should inquire about that too. since there is no principal reduction at this time this would sure help offset the much lower property value. did you ask for this?

Just follow up on that until the account is updated.............mine took two statements..........on the first statement they had the new loan amount and the old rate which made the payment much higher......
Then the next statement was correct and my account online was correct too.........online was the first place I saw the update.........if that helps........
But I bugged them to death until they updated the account.............the executed docs came after that.
