(my taxes are 587) which would make my payment 2587. that didnt sound too good to me. my original payment was 1780 b4 taxes, i used to pay them separetly. then my adjustable kicked in then my pymt went up top 2400, then, 3500. so, anyway she thought my taxes were 287, and i told her she made a mistake. so then she realized i was right and had to amend the papers she sent to underwriting. so a few days later she called, and said she fixed it and my pymnt b4 taxes would be 1750 plus taxes of 587= 2337. so apparantly , since the pymt couldnt be more that 40% of my income they were forced to lower my prinicpal and interest. i also asked about the 2 months i am behind, she said they would put that on the back of the loan. i dont have the exact terms of the mod yet, she said its now out of underwriting and has been sent for approval. and i should know by the end of the week what my new terms are. sounds good, but i am still praying, bc now i have no way of refinancing bc i am 2 months past due, noone will touch my loan, not even FHA. will keep u posted |

I've been dealing with this for 6 months and its absolutely incredible that there is no standard operating procedure for this loan mod process. Haven't all these smart people at Citi even thought of a procedure to deal with this? |

I e-mailed everyone on the list, but nothing this week.Maybe because of the holidays..when I'm able to reach the person with my file,I just get that its in the Tax dept and thers nothing more she can do now..so Thanks for your help anyway.. |

Tax info is public record and the compays can access them instantly. Try copying your info from your taxing authority online and faxing it to your negotiator. Mine miraculously recieved my file back from escrow the same day and now he's crunching numbers. And I won't accept some 40% calc. Remember you bonbarded upper staff with email in the start, if they deny you I'm sure they'd prefer to find a soulution then a daily berage of email. |

I will do this right away..The thing that drives me crazy is that everyones on their own in this process, its like the banks don't really want to do this so theryre dragging everyone through this, like torture. Instead of saying ok we have a problem here lets get going and fix it..I work for the government deciding disability claims and we answer phones when people call and we have time frames for deciding cases, all that stuff thats not going on here... |

I need to let everyone know that FINALLY!!!!!I've got my deal...4% life of the loan..late payments on the back end and no payments until Jan 09... I mailed the forms back the same day this country made history on Nov 4...Using ***'s contacts with the Presidents Office, I was contacted by a very nice person, Ms. Stackhouse who was extremely helpful and ran interference for me with her own office when there were even more delays..my loan went from 8.25 to 4 with an escrow,so my payment basically went down by about 1,000 dollars/month..good stuff huh? I need to thank *** and all the good people on this site,Idon't know what I would have done without you all..really..this site gave me the tools to modify this loan..you all need to realize the good work being done by Moe and *** and all the people running this site seriously..you make it possible to take on the system and win!!!! |
