I wanted to comment on your question about using an attorney....I had one and I got a loan mod through AHMSI and it was only because I had the loan doc audit and they found violations in my documents and used those violations to get us a loan mod....so in my case, I don't think I could have gotten a good mod like I did without an attorney on my side.
