Re: frustrated too...
Well we got the loan modification! I got the paperwork Fedex'ed to me Friday and these are the terms: Our option ARM will become a fixed loan at 5.25% interest only for two years, after that time period it will become a full interest/principle payment (still fixed at 5.25%) approx $1K more a month. So not too bad, considering our mortgage balance! Our second did get the margin removed, not sure how that will affect the payment yet but it will go down some. So good news! Our first payment isn't due until Sept 1st so we have a little time to catch up, they included all the past payments we haven't made into the new loans and they aren't asking for any upfront money so yeah! What do you all think?

No, but we have two years to find a solution. I've been scanning news sites waiting to hear about the mortgage rescue bill. I'm hoping we're able to get some help that way. But for now we're working with what we have...

Honestly I have no clue, I'm in California so it's probably not the same as yours. Try calling the home retention line, that's what I did. They probably won't give you directly to Sheila but they can give you an update! Good luck! Thanks for all the congrats people! And thank you so much Cat for all the help!!!
