According to my attorney - lenders of late are more willing to talk to people who are still current - but still make it tougher on you and give priority to borrowers who are 3+ months late.

Just an observation. As we call to follow up on progress a great deal of how we feel after the call is based on the " customer service rep " responses.

Yes I know about learning the patience thing. Hopefully we will get approved soon.. and I do suppose the loan mitigators reps who talk to us are trying hard to answer questions and yet not divulge information which we can misconstrue. I know all this and it is still hard... so... but *** if you did it we can toooooooooooooo....Thanx

Waiting for Chase still

The mortgage will adjust again June 1st. I followed up on status and it is still the same...under review... and according to "Chalise" all the files are taking longer to review.. Call back in two weeks.. I mentioned about the adjustment in June.. She said please try to make the payment if it comes to that? This adjustment last adjustment was hard to make. We have restructured our expenses to make the current payments.. suffering other bills. When is a good time for a QWR?

RudyJay,

Have you received the adjustment letter yet? Because with the rate indexes most are staying the same and not adjusting up.......atleast until the next adjustment period........

Re: Waiting for Chase

It says:

The index upon which your interest rate is calculated has changed from 5.132% to 2.614%. This means means that on 05/01/08 the interestfrate on your adjustable rate mortgage loan will change from the current rate of 8.05% to 8.625%.

Down further in the letter says Your interest rate is calculated by adding 5.950 percentage points to the current index.

While I am Waiting for Chase

Follow up today. Still in underwriting. Called HOPE NOW today and talked to a housing counselor. I am actually trying to use all resources being proactive while waiting for word on the loan modification.. I do have a concern though my monthly expenses are different than I had originally submitted in March because I paid off a loan borrowing $ from family which the housing counselor says $298 surplus.
