I haven't been able to get anything permanent. |

They've offered us a forbearance agreement for 3 months with the opportunity of a loan mod at the end of the 3 months, but I don't want to waste time if we're not going to get something permanent in the end. (Of course the guy on the phone said that this is the first step to getting a loan mod and that we could possibly get a permanent loan mod after this - yeah right!) |

There have been a few members who have been able to get a lower rate for 18 months, but not permanently, and no principal reduction. On the other hand, there is a member who got a permanent fixed rate (2%, I believe) after her husband died.
