My journey with Countrywide started nine months ago, see my still ongoing thread NACA OFFER. As September 10 we have made our first trial payment on our MHA modification. Submitted in January with NACA. In July contacted BofA/Countrywide advocacy rep David L, who had us fax over updated income proof. Sept. 3 NACA submits for forbearance instead of original modification request. Sept. 10th call to attempt to make a partial payment, and low and behold, told MHA had been approved on Aug. 27th! Don't know how that happened as not even NACA had submitted for MHA. Bottom line thanks to LoanSafe, if I hadn't found this site wouldn't have known about NACA or got the advice I needed to be my own advocate at the same time. |

Was that why NACA submitted a forbearance intead of a restructure proposal? Just trying to figure out the long process, I was just denied my HAMP modification request by CHASE, even though NACA submitted a restructure proposal to them. Right now I am figuring out my next strategy. |
