I am still holding on

I am down with the fight. I thought about throwing the towel in but after talking to my children's godmother who fought for her own house and was even on TV fighting for her house, and I have been in my house for 10 years. I have decided to go down swinging. My main mortgage is with Bank United. I have sent two modification packets to them one was misplaced when I didnt agree to the terms.. I had to resubmit another one once a letter of intent to foreclose was received. In the meantime the auction date was 9/8/09but I filed bankruptcy and still working on the modification with NACA. I have tried with NACA and Bank United for past year. I will see if it works this time. Sent a complaint to NACA last night and they called me back in an hour and will investigate. Also Bank United went under in May 21, 2009 so I am sending a complaint to the FDIC as well because they bailed the bank execs out.

Hang in there mine is similar only it has been two years and two months. joined naca july 2007 with foreclosure with ameriquest. sold to citibank in jan 2008 after ameriquest went under worked with naca and citibank from jan 2008 till feb2009 when we close, again sold to ahmsi in feb 2009 resubmitted everything updated in feb 2009 to ahmsi still waiting!!!! Amy Machedo called for info they were missing sent to her a month ago. She called because she could not get anyone at naca and she needed this paper for the underwriters. Still waiting!!!! Sent a letter to naca and I always cc Bruce Marks and my last answer was (be patient the bank is actively working on it). I still will not give up without a fight. After seeing your message I wonder if the common thread is the original lender went under water. I just wanted to let you know stay strong and fight. I wound up in the hospital in jan with a nervous breakdown. I'm getting stronger each day and continue to fight this with ahmsi and naca.

Thanks...I have had stress related health problems myself but as I'm sure the doctors have told you do 30 minutes of excercise walking that will help with having a peace of mind while going through this. They(banks) want us to give up and walk away so they can resell the property. We all got to hang in there and lean on each other for support when we feel weak. This is our home our investment we are talking about.

caldwellb02 I have brucemarks@naca.com. If you want to fax something you would need your NACA member ID # and your fax cover sheet that you can print out on their website and fax it to that number other than that they are a paperless organization everything is done by document imaging. Goodluck to you. I have been contacting NACA for going on two years now and stopped stressing trying to make payments to Bank United I could not afford in August of 2008. My arrears were put in bamkruptcy Chpater 13 this month. I will not pay Bank United, those crooks, anything until they give me a modification I can afford.
