My payment went from 1090.00 to 899.51 per month. The loan was a VA loan-went from 6% to 4%. I had agreed to a 4.5% but I had a Congresswoman from Az that contacted the VA and somehow it wound up at 4%. HAd to pay over 600.00 in fees(was in a foreclosure) hold through loss mit. until this was paid. I started this last process through the exective dept, contacted the VA and informed them they were descriminating against a veteran by refusing to help me through obmas plan, and also contacted a Congressman. Those that are going through this process must attack this issue on several fronts. Just contacting the bank is not enough. Also stay away from those TV loan MOd commercials-I called them and informed them what they were doing was fraud-the consumer can do this for free with there bank and utilization this web site for free-phone was hung up. |

We talked last year and I got a VA modification like you last year but I did pay on it until May. I have fallen behind again but I am afraid they are going to give me the same run around as last time when they told me I could not have another modification. Did they ever tell you that this last time? My account has been with someone since July 9th. I just resent in hardship letter, financial worksheet, paystubs today as they said they want them updated every thirty days. I dealt with the executive team last time but I am really afraid to contact them as they will probably blast me for falling behind again. The Obama plan does not support VA loans so I don't understand how you even got what you got. |
