Notice however that none of the successes talked about in this section of the forum involve negotiations. Maybe there are some professionals in this field who have the ability to negotiate with a bank but regular customers do not! The banks only allow customers to apply for a loan modification or plan. The banks make all the decisions. They offer you a plan or modification if you are lucky enough to qualify with their arcane and unpublished "policies". A negotiation implies that at least two parties discuss a solution. The banks offer no such person for you to talk to. What they laughingly call negotiators are people who sit in back rooms and decide what to give you. If you don't like what they offer, too bad. There goes your home. Take what they offer or else! |
