BofA Looking Good so far !!! - Loan Modification Forum

Well I thought I would post my good news with BofA. Have been working with lost mitigation for about a month, and they finally came back with a loan mod. My original loan is $350,000 @ 6% int.only. Fixed for 10yrs for $2115.00 mo. No taxes or INS. My new loan is 35.8yrs @ 3.5% for a paymnt of $1420.00.No taxes or ins. will setup impound acct. Jan. 2010.

This is for a Forbearance period of 3 mos. till Fannie Mae approves it. I just got this loan approved on the phone with BofA. I have not made a mortgage payment since June, and will not make a payment on the new loan mod. Till Sept. Have not got any paper work on this yet waiting for that to come in.

Just want to Thank everyone on this site, and thankful for all the Great information that this site provides.

Who was your contact at BoFA?

My contact at BofA was just lost mitagation. It was turned over to a analysis for review. I have now found out this is just a forbearance period for 3 mos. till it goes up for review with Fannie Mae.
