I just want to say thank you to this site and it's members, I too got into an a bad loan, struggled toward the end of last yr where we had 1 interest rate @ 10.9 and another at 9.9 fixed. We tried the refinance route but obviously upside down in this market, we searched locally for loan modification companies and almost fell into their loan mod scams and the fees they charge but luckily I found this site and things started to progress. We spoke with a team lead yvonne ybarra and negotiator jerry raynor. Everything ran smooth and we actually had a smooth process, the only hold up was in escrow but since our taxes are up to date we siad it's no reason to slow anything up, we'll take care of it on our own. Original payment on the 10.9 arm was 1176 and 9.9 was 285, our loan mod is 2% first yr on arm with a payment of 519.96 and a fixed 5% on the second with a payment of 183.99.....amazing! They stacked our first loan as follows 2% first yr, 3% second, 4% third and fixed at 5% the remaining term all without losing anything. We had 800 in back fees on the second loan added on and 3k added to the first with a 500 documentation/ loan mod fee...This site and the information gained is second to none, Thank you!
