Question What now? Waiting? Loan Modification Request

First I would like to thank you for this site and all the detailed information outlined for those of us who are overwhelmed.

My story is not unique like many I have a high interest mortgage and it's been a struggle to maintain.

This past year has been full of unexpected expenses: medical, home and funeral.

I am currently 3 months behind on my loan with Litton.
I emailed my hardship letter last week and received a phone call from Sean Wilson (Executive Resolution Team).
My financial summary and required documentaton was faxed and I was told my case has been sent to the Loss Mitigation Department for review.

Question?

What do I do now? How long does this process take? And should I be doing anything else to expedite a response. I want to avoid foreclosure and I am hoping to be granted a Loan Modification.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for joining............

Since you have all of the information in that is needed.........you would need to call for updates on your file at least 2 times per week........the waiting is going to be the hardest part and it may take a while..........

Welcome!! The process may take up to 3 to 6 months to get a decision. I would do exactly what *** said check on your status at least once a week. It might seem like you are getting the run around through out the process but dont get stressed it will work out for the best. Take care and keep us posted.
