I emailed it to the gentleman that requested the info 4 times, I then went and faxed it again 10 more times. I even sent it certified mail 2 times and as of today Saxon states they don't have all my information. I searched the internet for help regarding the H4H program and I ended up speaking to a mortgage lender in Phoenix, he explained to me that the H4H program loan was not yet available for anyone., he sent me to a company. I read there site and found it costs $1000.00 for them to help you get your loan modified, I was at the point I really didn't have much of a choice, see I used Hope for Homeowners back in May and as of November nothing had been resolved so I applied with this company, I am working with a really great guy at the company and he has sent in my packet to Saxon and HSBC (second mortgage), he states he has received comfirmation from both companies that they have the information, he called for more info that each company was requiring so I emailed him with all the updated information which he sent off the same day. Now just last weekend we received our Foreclosure paperwork from a lawyer in Minnesota stating Saxon has started the foreclosure process, I immedietly informed the company about what I received he told me he was looking into it ASAP. My question is? Is there anything I can do? I am paying a company to help me since I can't get anywhere with Saxon on my own, I feel like Saxon just doesn't care and really wants to take my home, yet every letter they send me says "We are here to help you save your home, please contact us to make arrangements", yet everything I try they smack me in the face with. This home is all my family has if we lose this house we have no place else to go. |

If you don't feel that the company is really working on your behalf........you may want to try a non profit such as NACA instead..........and see if they can help.........they can also postpone a foreclosure if you have a date set while they are working on a modification........click on the link for the info......... https://www.naca.com/refinance/refinanceTenStep.jsp

I have been trying since May 08 and we received our foreclosure letter in the mail a few weeks ago. We hired a company to handle the loan modification for us since we were getting no where by ourselves. According to the company we hired they denied our loan mod because they were missing our pay information. Since we received the notice the company has been on the phone trying to get this resolved since all information was submitted to Saxon. I don't want to lose my home and need help. I applied to the NACA this morning as well. I am doing all these things to save our home but when is to much enough? I don't want to lose my home, I have two kids and four dogs and this is all I have left. I am getting scared and am unsure where else to turn. All help is appreciated. |

Please do not post the names and links of modification companies that have not been authorized by LoanSafe.

My mortgage is upside down, I owe way more then my home is actually worth now. Also since I have already hired a company to help me and signed up for the NACA would it be to much to look into a short-refi. I feel the more people I have helping me the better, but Saxon may not think that way and end up dumping me because I have to much happening. I just dont want to stop. |

I am sorry to hear about your situation. The only statement I am going to say is you have to be very careful of hiring companies who say they will help you but unable to do so. Nowadays sharks are everywhere and only after your money. *** suggested to try NACA because this is a non profit organization and it will not cost you a dime, but you have to be patient and persistent. You will be giving a red flag to your lender Saxon if you hire companies who charge money to help you do a loan modification or reduction of interest. I think they call it Loan Modification to modify the terms of your loan to a lower interest and lower monthly mortgage payments. You can do this on your own just keep calling NACA, and your lender Saxon, keep calling 3 x a week, write them a letter regarding the financial hardship you are facing, try to check their website and see how they handle Loan Modification and how things are being done and their requirements. Wish you the best. Faith | |
