Homecomings is taking forever to respond to anything to finalize our short sale, yet we and our realtor have been on the ball with out own turnaround times of about a day. A month ago they approved a short sale on our 1st mortgage, now we have to deal with a different perso nand department to get our 2nd mortgage approved. The bummer is that they have both these loans for us. is there anyway that we can walk away from the 2nd now that they have approved the 1st???? Please advise, as these are the 3rd buyers to come along in 6 months and we NNED this deal to close so that we wont foreclose!!! We lost the other buyers due to the response time by Homecomings!!!!! We have already moved out due to a job transfer 400 miles away. What can we do to make this deal close, besides sitting on hold for hours at a time, and faxing them eerything they need within a hours of their request???? (Our 1st mortgage balance is 676,000 and 2nd mortgage balance is 132,000. The house appraised at 1.5 million nineteen months ago, and now is worth approx 600,000 according to a recent VPO....The buyers have offered 575,000 and Homecomings approved it. But will not get back to us on the sign off on second loan) Thank you!!!!!! ~Kristi |
