Litton Loan Modification through Resolve

I don't know if I am in the right place to post for help with my loan modification, but if I am not please guide me to the right place. Well here goes, I recieved loan modification offer from Litton Loan the last week of September it came from a place called Resolve, we signed, had notorized and mailed in our initial payment that was required the first week of October. We were behind on our mortgage due to my husband being diabetic and having surgery on a diabetic ulcer on the bottom of his foot and being out of work for about 6 months. In the six months time we exhausted all our savings and a couple of months before he got to go back to work we started really struggling with the mortgage payments. So out of the blue we recieve an offer from Litton to modify our loan and set us a fixed interest rate ( which was about to adjust and cause us more problems) and in the letter told us it was in our best interest. We were grateful for the offer and gladly did what was asked of us. We got everything done by the 6th of October which was very good considering we had to the 24th. Now comes the not so good part, we have still not heard and I realize that it does take time from reading on here some of the posts which is fine, the not so fine part is the fact that my mother informed me our house was in the paper for a foreclosure sell Nov. 10 as of this past Friday!! We recieved no papers even telling us this was going to happen. And of course we are like many others who have tried to call repeatedly and get a voice mail of someone that I can not even begin to understand their name!! I finally got through Friday evening to someone named Erin in the loan resolution dept and she seemed nice enough and was floored that our house was in the paper and promised to email her supervisor to try to fix our problem Monday morning. But I got to admit I am scared to death and just can't seem to trust this. So I guess my question is what do I need to do to get some attention from someone to take me seriously. She did tell me that our initial payment was showing in the system but no paperwork was showing. And another problem we have repeatedly had is the fact that the loan is only in my husbands name and we have faxed a ton of letters authorizing me to have full access to the account. Can someone please guide me on what to do next.

Re: Litton Loan Modification through Resolve

That is who I spoke to on Friday afternoon. I see there are email address's on here should I send my info to any of these or just try to patiently wait it out. I was told that it takes 24 to 48 hrs to be added as a authorized contact and needless to say it has been way longer than that and several refax's later. Resolve told me that I have to contact Litton, I thought they were supposed to be the go between to speed the process up. They did tell me my information looked fine and there should be no problem with the modification taking place and that Litton could not take the offer back because it was a legal offer, is this true?

Re: Litton Loan Modification through Resolve

I have Litton and have not had any luck with them, I'm trying to modify our loan here in Ca, and have gotten the complete run-around. I hope after reading some suggestions here, I can move forward. Good Luck.

Re: Litton Loan Modification through Resolve

you would need to ask Litton....since they received the check for the good faith, they should be updating your account to reflect the modification soon......... I had not heard of Resolve...........I don't recall any members that had their modification done through this company so far, but there may be others that have not posted it.......

you might want to email what is happening to these contacts........as they were able to help many members........just to be sure.

Re: Litton Loan Modification through Resolve

Okay I will do the emails and thank you for the info that I have recieved so far. I tried to see if there were others that worked with Resolve and Litton before I began posting and could not find any. Erin with Litton did finally confirm that they were using Resolve so that was some relief knowing that I had not been taken by a scam.

And to Abarnes, thank you, and I hope you find the help you are needing. There is a ton of great information on this site!!! I don't feel like I have had to go through some of the stuff others have had to go through and I am hoping that my loan modification is nearing the end. Good luck to you also!!

Re: Litton Loan Modification through Resolve

I have also been working with Fair Housing of Riverside County, which is very slow going, I just sent my hardship to ALL of the e-mail addresses for Litton, and have my QWR in a envelope ready to go tomorrow. We have Fax'd info 2x and each time they magically can't be found. As of Oct, I'm now not paying to see if I can get someones attention! I will add anything that happens. My story is typical, I owe about double of what my house is worth, and I have a negative ARM loan-a loan that we weren't fully aware of the consequences. Bad situation-I hope we can be saved!!

Re: Litton Loan Modification through Resolve

I sent my emails last night and recieved a response from Steven Droddy that said that the email address I sent my info to was an internal email address used within the company and that he would forward my email on to the Customer Service Response Team for review and follow up.

I am gonna call repeatedly today until someone gives me some kind of news. I am hoping that the email was a good sign that I got someones attention and that I will get somewhere today.

Re: Litton Loan Modification through Resolve

I also have some questions about our deed. The foreclosure sale listed in the paper listed our note to a company we had 2 yrs ago after a refinance, the company was Sebring and they sold our mortgage within 3 months to Avelo then after 2 yrs it was sold to Litton. So in the paper it looks like Sebring is the one foreclosing on our house. How do we find out who has the deed/title for sure? Under the loan modification that Litton sent us there is a La Salle Bank listed, can someone please explain to me how the loan servicing works and if our house is tied to all these places somehow?

Re: Litton Loan Modification through Resolve

Thruout the life of the loan it will get transferred from servicer to servicer................but the investor on the loan is something else.......
there may be no single “owner” of your loan if the original mortgage was bundled with hundreds of others and placed in a trust which was then sold off in pieces to hundreds of investors as mortgage backed securities........ that include Wall Street banks, mutual funds, pension funds, even foreign investors.
You might be able to find out by sending a QWR (Qualified Written Request) asking this information and sending it certified mail return receipt requested to..........

Litton Loan Servicing LP
Attention: Customer Service Department
4828 Loop Central Drive
Houston, TX 77081

it could also be listed on a foreclosure notice..........or with the county........or through a deed search of the property.......but that information is not always recorded.

The investors pay the servicers to take the payments and service the loans...........

Ok, I already feel better, Noel from Litton has already called me this morning. He was very nice and professional. He explained to me what were some possibilities, and sent me a new financials to fill out. There's hope.

Re: Litton Loan Modification through Resolve

Well, here's my latest, I am hoping it is good!! After calling all day, and I do mean all day, of calling and refaxing the authorization for me to have access to our account I finally get through to a lady named Gloria who tells me that our modification is with the processor and for me to call back Wednesday and that our account should be all straightened out in the system with the new payment and due date!! Soooo we'll see, I think I have used up most of my patience today but I'm really trying hard to continue with it. So can anyone tell me what happens while it's at the processor so I can be prepared for what might happen next, Please.
