I filled out paperwork with Wilshire back in June and just this week after all of that I was advised that I was denied. I was shock and appalled by the reasoning for the denial. I was told that my automobile was a luxury. After all of my bills at the end of the month I have only a surplus of about 100.00. I explained to both Kay Clayton and Randy Murdock that I have no other debts like credit cards and etc my debt comes from houshold debts and child support. I was told that I needed to get a roomate or voluntarily turn over my truck so that I can afford my 900.00 plus payment in the near future. I have been on the internet looking for others who may have been told the same things and I have not come accross one story where the lender told them to sell their car or to give it back. I asked if I did that what would be the outcome and I was told it would still be denied because I then would have the surplus needed to pay the rate increase not to mention the fact that I have an 80/20 loan and the other loan is an adj rate also. I just do not understand this or can't fathom the reason that if my car note was not taken into consideration why they ask for the amount on the financial hardship paperwork. I am really at a loss and hope someone will give me some guidance... |

So, I was told to adjust my financial statement to include my husband's income, even though he's not on the loan, and they denied me again and said, "Well you can afford it!" So, that seems to be a trend with them it sounds. |

It told me that if approved I should send in the first payment by cashier's check it also was signed with ink and not a system generated signature. It was sent ups express overnight this gives me some hope. |
