Over a Year and Still No End in Sight!

Hello! We missed our first payment in June 2011 in Washington, Wells Fargo. No 2nd, just 1st FHA loan. House is valued at $130k, we owe $235k. We went through all the motions, getting phone calls, trying to get a loan mod with no success, etc. and now haven't heard a word from anyone since then. No Notice of Default or Trustee Sale filed yet. I am wondering how much longer this will take. We were thinking about moving out soon, but thought we will stick it out until the end to pay off debt and try for C4K.

    Anyone else still waiting?

That is a wise choice and personally I would also stay in the property until the foreclosure occurs and save up as much money as you possibly can. The foreclosure process in WA seems to be taking about 12-18 months to complete and we have many others walking away in WA..

Here are some threads with other members who have walked away or are in the middle of doing so in WA state.
