I called Ocwen and emailed them many times for months now although I still havent gotten any where. Many times they stated they didnt get my docs, I faxed them now a total of four times. The second time they told me I could afford my payment and an increase of about $300 dollars, so I reviewed my financial worksheet adding every bill I pay and according to my figures I dont really have any surplus. Because, I charge alot of my bills currently just to try to stay afloat with all items/bills rising. Although, I was told I dont qualify because I have $5 dollars a month to spare. They told be to try again when my loan resets which is in Aug, although i was told the payment will change Oct 1st. I have a 3/1 interest only ARM with Ocwen. They told me to try for a modification once the loan resets, however once the loan resets I wont be able to afford the payment. Has any one had luck dealing with Ocwen recently. Any advice of what I can do next. I was more less told many times that they cant help me because I havent missed a payment. I dont want to lose my home, althought not sure what to do next. I have allready tried to email the people listed on this site for Ocwen, although still got no where. |

You do not have to be late to obtain a modification from Ocwen..if you go to the Success Section of the forum you will see the Ocwen success stories......each lender is listed in the thread titles........but you should try to show a surplus of $100-$250 left at the end of the month........also before you submit the financials go over them with Ocwen just be sure, as most lenders will only go up to a certain amount for credit card debt and that could throw the financials off.......... Call the Early Intervention Dept. to see if you can get started on the modification........ Early Intervention Dept. 1-800-446-2936 Put your hardship letter into the body of an email and send it to the email address below: ombudsmanweb@ocwen.com
