Quality control Letter - Fannie Mae - Loan Modification Forum

Hi, does every one have any experience of this? The person who gave me a gift letter for my closing last year has recieved a QC letter from Fannie Mae.
The letter asks him to confirms the gift letter and that he gaved me the money for the closing. I am currently under foreclosure. What does this mean? Is there a reason to be worried or is this "standard" procedure when Forec. process appears? Thanks for answer!

Welcome to the forum and thank you for joining...............

I have only heard of these types of verifications being used for the purpose of audits...........it is most likely for that reason alone..........just to verify the gift and that is all.........I don't think it would be any cause for alarm....but if you would like to find out for your own piece of mind.......just give a call to FannieMae and ask...............
