Getting No Where Fast!!

Hi everybody, I am a new member and I am looking for assistance. I am currently behind with my Wamu loan. I have been experiancing economical hardships due to the South Florida economy. I am currently at 9.5% with a $3,000.00 mthly payment that will roll over in November to 11%. I recently submitted all documents to WAMU for a loan modification and followed through extensively with phone calls and emails and when I finally spoke to a representative they said they tried to reach my wife and I by telephone and couldnt reach us so they closed the case and here we are back to square one. I was asked to resubmit all documents in order to proceed with modification it know has been two months and I have had no response and know my mortgage is three months behind and I am getting deeper and deeper into a situation with my mortgage . I currently show a surplus on my financial sheet on $250.00 . I have enough income to pay my loan at a resonable rate. Please if anyone has any suggestions our advice on how to expedite this process please, please let us know!! Please let us know of any emails, phone numbers that may be of importance or people whom we may contact directly it would be of great help!!! Thank You

So sorry I missed your thread.........thanks for the headsup.......
Here is the contact info for WaMu.........what you need to do is to put your hardship letter into the body of an email along with your loan number and contact info and send it to each of the email addresses below..........you should receive instruction on how to get started and also maybe to speak with someone in regard to the point that you were already at before in the mod process.........

Thank you so much, I e-mail the list you gave me and I got a call back to let me know that somebody from Loss Mitigation would contact me with in 24to 48 hours. WOW WOW somebody actually called to tell me that! I will keep you posted in the weeks to come.

Yesterday, I received a FedEx Package containing the loan modification which I was extremely excited, but my excitement quickly turned into frustration after I look at it in detailed. My payment had been reduced by $150.00 dollars per month not a significant chance. Also the interest rate had been dropped by less than a point, but much at all. So I did what anybody else would do, I called my representative to inquire about it. She explained that it is all done by plugging the numbers in from my financial statement and the computer will spit out the payment along with the interest rate. They also are looking for me to make a contribution of $3,300.00 in order for them to process the modification. I explained to them that this modification is not feasible for me and would like to speak to the negotiator to explain my situation. The rep advice me that they will contact them and they would call me, they are allowed to take any calls from anybody. I was under the impression that the modification would be a bit more positive for me, is this the right process that they use in order to determine the new payment and rate, or are they just trying to get me to agree to their terms. Please advise…. Thank you for all help.

The modifications are pre determined by the investor on your loan.........you could ask if you could resubmit financials again and tell them that the payment is still too high...............you will have to see what the investor will say..........

Thanks for all your help we got the loan modification and we are happy with terms. For those of you who are doing a loan modification it will happen just keep on pushing.
