He claims he has a good success rate and the cost is thirty-five hundred dollars. He further said that if he is unable to secure me a modification of my loan, he will return my money. I have to pay upfront if I agree to sign up. I am a little skeptical and wodering if anyone has had experience with the use of attorneys to secure modification of their loans. Will appreciate all inputs. Ondo50. |

I need help and want it badly but am afraid to give the money to an Attorney and then find out they can't help. I have to say that the attorney's I found on this website seem to be upfront and honest. What I fear is giving them a house payment and being further behind. I am 60 days late and have my payment but am afraid to make the big step forward as I am in fear of losing my home. I have read everyone's comments and having the Attorney's help seem to make me feel more comfortable but I can't make the final decision. I think I don't have enough info or don't understand the process completely. Anyone that can help I would greatly appreciate the ABC's of this process. Some say when the Attorney's get in contact the Mtg company cannot start foreclosure but what happens if the option that the MTG company provides doesn't work for my situation. Do I have to then come up with all the money behind or lose my house. Thanks, Nel |
