Unhappy Help?

Our situation; my husband was layed off from his job of 18 years, subsiquint unemployment of 2 years followed as he tried to get a job anywhere and everywhere. I still have all the documentation to prove he was really trying to find gainful employment. Meanwhile we cut back and lived off of our savings. We have streched things THIN THIN THIN... to stupid or stubborn (?) we haven't filed bancruptcy as we keep trying to pay everybody we owe. My husband recieved a job offer from out of state had no choice but to take it, I stay here with our 2 kids We fell in and out of deliquency with our lender, and I just found out our house has been sold,.... we are still living here. I spoke with the investment people who bought the property and they are willing to resell us the property IF we can find a lender. We have been homeowners for 20 yeras, had car loans, etc... never with a problem until the last couple of years. Is there any way we canbuy our house back? We can have family cosign etc for new loan as they have been very good to try and help us out, everything from helping us look for work to giving us work. And we are finally starting to get back our feet unfortunately to late....

Re: Help?

Hi Djnmb4,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for joining.....................

What state are you in?
Were you informed of the sale date of your home via a foreclosure document or NOD?
Was the house sold at a foreclosure sale through the courts?

something here doesn't sound right................

Re: Help?

Yes we were notifitied... sort of once notified, I was able to get enough money to file a cure, they said they could take no less than half (half was 7,000) but guess that didn't actually "cure" sid it would remain in foreclosure status for up to a year and if late at all would continue action. And I live in Colorado. Right now just interested in getting our house back, because of our circumstances and my husband going out of state for work, I'm basically a single parent, as I'm lucky if my husband makes it back every couple weeks. Absolutely everything falls on my shoulders and would just like to be able to count on this one thing... my house. Thanks
