I called the BBB on ocwen, they are not reporting to transunion, equifax and experian on time. I was in a forbearance from jan 07 to dec 07. I'm on time and up to date from jan 08 to date june 08. they are reporting me as "arrangement made to make partial payment" The letter they sent me says my loan was reinstated and brought current. I told them don't tell me tell the creditors. PS I am still on hold and they told me they can bring my rate from 7.89 to 6% to no charge to me. (85 days later) LETS MAKE A DEAL. my next call is back to the BBB. Nancy |

We modified just to change from ARM to fixed. Never been late or missed any payments (no partial payments either). Apparently they did not count the two payments made during the stipulation period as 'regular payments' - they just didn't report that we paid anything! Also, if you modify your mortgage, for any reason, they throw in that nice comment about the partial payment agreement - destroyed our credit scores! I have e-mailed the ombudsman 3 times regarding the comment. They have finally removed it!!! Log in and check under the 'credit reporting' section on their website, if that comment is not on it, then the next time they submit info to the credit bureaus it should be updated. I will check my credit report sometime mid-month, hopefully the comment will not be on it! I also had a problem with Ocwen adding escrow payments on my account. I was only supposed to pay them for the stipulation period. I called and was transferred and disconnected so many times that it was pathetic. I found that list of e-mail addresses on this site (thank you LoanSafe!!!) and sent off a detailed e-mail explaining my problems to every name on that list, I just checked the website and my account is now updated - no escrow payment added on for 7/1 payment, they finally have the correct payment amt and the correct rate. Send that same e-mail to every name on that list and see what happens. Good Luck!!! |

I want to refinance and get out of Ocwen. I went to (removed site) and they told me " I can get in a FHA loan at 6% but the closing fee at the end will be 18.000.00" I told them that is high and should it be about 10 thousand for a broker and 8 thousand for a bank???? I will not pay 18 thousand dollors. HELP!!!!!!! |
