Two years ago, we did a re-fi with a company called Metropolitian; and they called after the closing saying they had made a minor type-O; and needed us to re-sign an adjusted version of the loan. Our loan was supossed to be a 2 yr. fixed and include everything like we previously had. We made the major mistake in trusting them and not re-reading the whole loan. They sold our loan with-in a month to Nova Star, where as we found out we were responsable for all taxes and insurances... Nova Star sold us to Saxon, and here we are, facing the adjustable rate starting in June; and our mortgage is $1,104.00 a month now. Our loan is higher then the value-of course! I sent an email asking for a loan modification; and of course have had no replies from them, as it always is with Saxon. I am disabled; and we are raising our 2 little nieces now; and my husband is working with the same company for over 17 years. We have never missed or been late on any mortgage payments, but I fear that is about to end; and I am very concerned that we may face a forecloser in the near future! Even if we did get a re-fi yet again, the loan will be several thousand higher then what it is now. Is there any way to get Saxon to do a loan modification? Our payment history is excellent. Although we did get granted a bankruptcy almost 3 years ago. Our credit scores are compatable with many others in these rough times! |
